This work is the result of a trip to the island of Hawaii and visits to arboretums and gardens there. The pendants represent floral aspects of tropical plants and are attached for display (when not being worn) to the boxes on which the drawings are mounted, The drawings are intended to provide context and a feel for the environment in which these plants flourish. The neckbands for the pendants are stored in the boxes.
